Margaux Motin
Margaux Motin has always wanted to make her living from drawing, and she has turned that dream into a reality. After completing high school, she entered the ENSAAMA (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et Métiers d’Art) Olivier de Serres in Paris and graduated at 20 with a diploma in visual communication (publicity, graphic design and illustration.) Her first position was as assistant editor and assistant designer for a home decor magazine. She then became associate director of a large children’s bookshop (Fnac Junior), which allowed her to get acquainted with the publishing business and with many authors and illustrators of children’s books.
Meanwhile, she has continued her development as a graphic artist, mainly to entertain her kith and kin. She just loves to illustrate her friends’ adventures and mishaps in humorous ways which lighten the burden of daily life. Her goal : to make others smile.
Her encounter with Virginie brought her into illustrating at a professional level. Currently, her work appears regularly in Têtu and Muteen magazines. And she is ready for new challenges, her eyes glued to the color palette of her PC… Margaux is a fascinating young woman, radiating with a joie de vivre that can be felt through each of her illustrations. A real pleasure for the beholder !
